If you didn’t hear the news, DotNetNuke 6.0.1 was released yesterday, check out Joe’s blog post for more details.

On that note, I put out two new open source releases as well. I updated DNNSimpleArticle with a fix for DNN6 and made made a few other minor changes. As always, the module is released in C# and you can get the installable package, or the source package over on http://dnnsimplearticle.codeplex.com/. If you want to see the module in action check out http://www.bicycletips.com/

I also released an update for Multifunction, the World’s Best Free DotNetNuke Skin. It has a minor CSS fix for DNN6 (and 6.0.1). I also removed the custom actions menu it was using in favor of the new DotNetNuke 6 specific actions menu. MultiFunction is a C# skin, with both install and source packages available from http://multifunction.codeplex.com/

Be sure to rate both releases when you download!

Are you looking for the World’s Best Free DotNetNuke Skin? Well, have I got just the one for you. MultiFunction, you can find it now on Codeplex, or check out the Demo web site to see it in action. Now for some specifics. Did he really just call it “World’s Best”? Sure, but where’s the proof? What, my word isn’t good enough? Here’s the background as to why I created the world’s best free DotNetNuke skin. For those of you who know me, you likely know I have a domain problem. Mainly, I have too many of them. Along with that problem goes another problem, too many websites. All of those websites (except for two) are running on DotNetNuke. And they all had different skins, different layouts, different everything.

Earlier this evening I release a new version of my DNNSimpleArticle module for DotNetNuke. You can download the latest release from codeplex at http://dnnsimplearticle.codeplex.com/ This release is the first release of the module ONLY in C#, the previous release had both C# and VB.Net versions for example purposes. Going forward I want to keep things simple, and since my preference is C# all the future releases will be in C#. Here are the highlights for this release.
